How to Fix Cream Blush That Goes Patchy
Cream blush goes patchy when it is rubbed over unset foundation, powder, or dry skin. Re-press the base and tap color on in thin layers.

The fix
- stop rubbing the blush back and forth
- press the patchy edge with a damp sponge
- warm a tiny amount of blush on your fingertip
- tap color over the cheek instead of swiping
Prevent it next time
- Apply cream blush before powder.
- Let skincare and foundation set before adding cheek color.
Notes
Why this works
Patchy cream blush needs pressure, not more blending. Pressing reconnects the layers and keeps the cheek color soft.
