The Beauty Answer is a static website. We do not require accounts or ask you for personal information. We do use a privacy-focused analytics service to understand how the site is used, as described below.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic — which pages and fixes are most useful, where visitors come from, and roughly how many people use the site. To do this, Google sets cookies on your device and processes standard usage data such as your browser type, device, and the pages you view. Google Analytics 4 does not store your IP address.

We use this only to improve The Beauty Answer, and we never use it to identify you personally or to advertise to you. You can learn more from Google's privacy policy, or block analytics cookies using your browser settings or an extension.

Local storage

We use your browser's local storage to remember:

• Your theme preference (light/dark mode and color palette)
• Focus Mode setting
• Which answer steps you've completed

This data stays on your device and is never sent to us.

Contact form

If you submit a answer fix through our contact form, we receive only the information you provide. We use it solely to improve The Beauty Answer and do not share it with third parties.

Hosting

Our site may be hosted on services that collect standard server logs (IP addresses, browser type, pages visited). This is standard web infrastructure and is not used for tracking or marketing.
