Why it happened
Mustache hair can curve inward as it gets longer, especially near the corners of the mouth. Cutting too much makes the mustache look thin, while a small trim at the lip line removes the irritating ends. Light wax trains the direction without leaving a white cast.
The fix
- 1comb the mustache straight down before cutting anything
