Dark Circles Show Through Foundation
Dark circles show through foundation because foundation is not designed to correct under-eye shadow. Use targeted corrector and concealer only where the darkness is visible.

The fix
- leave foundation thin around the under-eye area
- apply corrector to the deepest shadow first
- press concealer over the corrector and stop before the lower lash line
If it’s still not right
- Add a second pinpoint layer only on the darkest crease.
- Choose a concealer with more peach or golden warmth if grayness remains.
Prevent it next time
- Do under-eye correction after foundation so you can see what still needs coverage.
- Avoid taking heavy foundation up to the lashes.
Notes
Why this works
Foundation covers surface color evenly, but dark circles are concentrated shadows. Targeted correction gives more payoff with less product.
Keeping foundation thin also helps concealer sit smoothly on top.
