How to Fix Gel Nails That Feel Hot Under the Lamp
Gel nails feel hot under the lamp when thick gel cures too quickly or the nail plate is sensitive. Use thinner layers and remove your hand at the first heat spike.

- pull your hand out as soon as heat spikes
- wait a few seconds, then place it back in the lamp
- cure thinner gel layers going forward
- avoid gel if nails are thin, damaged, or painful

- If the nail hurts after curing, remove the product safely and pause gel.

- Use thin coats and the correct lamp for the gel system.
- Do not apply gel over over-filed nails.
