Mascara Looks Spidery
Mascara looks spidery when too much wet product builds on separated lashes. Wiping the wand, combing through, and softening the tips makes lashes look cleaner.

The fix
- blot the mascara wand on tissue before adding another coat
- comb lashes from root to tip with a clean spoolie while mascara is still flexible
- pinch off heavy tips gently with clean fingers or a lash comb
If it’s still not right
- Hold a damp cotton swab near the lash tips for a few seconds, then comb again.
- Skip extra coats on the outer corner if that area keeps clumping.
Prevent it next time
- Wipe the wand before the first coat.
- Replace mascara that has turned dry or stringy.

Why this works
Mascara looks spidery when the wet formula binds several lashes into stiff points. A clean spoolie breaks those points apart before the mascara fully dries.
The fix is control, not more product. Once the tips are light again, lashes can still look defined without the heavy, clumped shape.
