How to Fix Sunscreen That Leaves a Purple Cast on Deep Skin
Sunscreen can leave a purple cast on deep skin when mineral filters or cool tint sit visibly on the surface. Sheer the layer and switch undertone.

The fix
- press the cast with a damp sponge to thin the layer
- add a tiny amount of warm-toned moisturizer around the edges
- avoid piling foundation over a thick cast
- choose a warmer tinted sunscreen next time
Prevent it next time
- Test sunscreen along the jaw in daylight.
- Look for transparent chemical formulas or warm flexible tints.
Notes
Why this works
The cast is most visible when the layer is thick. Pressing and warming the edge helps it blend until you can switch formulas.
