How to Fix a Blowout That Falls Flat
A blowout falls flat when roots are damp, product is too heavy, or hair cools before it is lifted. Reheat the roots and set volume while hair cools.

The fix
- dust dry shampoo at the roots and wait one minute
- lift sections with a round brush
- warm the roots with the dryer, then use a cool shot
- mist hairspray under the lifted sections
Prevent it next time
- Dry roots completely before smoothing the lengths.
- Keep heavy oils and creams away from the crown.
Notes
Why this works
Volume needs clean roots and cooling time. Dry shampoo adds grip while the cool shot locks in shape.
