Curls Frizz at the Crown
Curls frizz at the crown when the top layer dries out, gets touched too much, or lacks hold. Add water, smooth product over the canopy, and let it set.

The fix
- mist the crown until the frizzy layer is damp, not soaked
- smooth a small amount of curl cream over the canopy with flat hands
- glaze gel over the same area and let it dry before touching
If it’s still not right
- Tie a satin scarf over the crown for 10 minutes while it sets.
- Refresh in smaller sections if the roots are puffy too.
Prevent it next time
- Sleep with a satin scarf or bonnet.
- Keep hands out of the crown while curls dry.

Why this works
Frizz needs water before more product. Dampening reactivates the styling layer so cream and gel can smooth the lifted hairs back into place.
Letting the crown dry untouched gives the gel time to form a light cast.
