Cream Eyeshadow Creases Fast
Cream eyeshadow creases quickly when lids are oily, skincare is still slippery, or too much shadow is layered at once. Prime lightly and set only where the lid folds.

The fix
- blot lids with tissue before applying any eye product
- use a thin layer of eyeshadow primer and let it set for a minute
- tap on cream shadow in sheer layers instead of swiping on a thick coat
- dust a tiny amount of matching powder shadow only through the crease

- Skip eye cream on the mobile lid during the day and keep it under the orbital bone.
- Choose a long-wear cream shadow stick if soft pot formulas always move on you.
Prevent it next time
- Keep foundation and concealer off the eyelid unless you set them.
- Build shimmer with light taps rather than one thick metallic layer.

Why this works
The eyelid folds every time you blink, so cream shadow needs a dry, grippy base and a flexible layer. If the product is thick or the lid is oily, the shadow gathers in the crease because that is where movement pushes it.
Blotting and primer remove the slip. Sheer layers dry faster and bend better with the lid. A small amount of powder in the fold adds insurance exactly where creasing happens without dulling the rest of the shadow.
